*Late payments and denied cards may cause player to lose roster spot or be unable to travel with team. All payments are due no later than the 5th of each month. Please notify the OPV Director if there are any foreseen issues or questions.
FEE INFORMATION: 2023-2024 CLUB SEASON
The fees cover team expenses such as coaching stipends, practice facility, tournament entry fees, uniforms, practice shirts, equipment, insurances, and other administrative fees. Fees do not include ground or airfare transportation for local and overnight tournaments, as well as meals and snacks during these events.
Please remember that the club cannot operate and meet financial obligations if any member defaults on the payment of dues. If a club member is delinquent in their dues, they will not be allowed to participate in practices and/or tournaments until payments are up to date. If additional time is needed to make a payment, the information must be communicated to the Executive Director at least 72 hours before the due date.
Note: If a payment is 2 weeks overdue, a late charge of $75 will be added to the total due. Also a $50 fee will be charged for cancelled checks or declined debit/credit card payments.
OPV is an Elite volleyball club with three to four teams competing nationally each year. All of the top teams in our club have coaches that either currently play OR coach college volleyball or have played/coached college volleyball in the past. Our club owner was a Lakeridge HS grad and collegiate player that made it the elite 8 of the NCAA tournament in 2006. She was also a 6A high school varsity coach in Portland, AND the head coach at a University in Portland for four years. There are very few clubs in our area that can say the same. Signing your daughter up for OPV means that you are being intentional about picking a club where she will get top-notch training--on the whole! Because not only do we care about developing your player's physical potential, but we also care equally as much about training the mental side of the game. With a BS in Psychology and an MA in School Counseling, our club owner developed a curriculum made to do just that--teach mental toughness and train self-confidence. We don't only train players to be winners on the court, our deepest desire and passion is for them to learn to be strong, confident women off the court. This is our partnership with you.
PAYMENT POLICIES AGREED ON BY PARENT OR GUARDIAN TO COMPETE AT OPV
- I understand that if my daughter incurs an injury, becomes ill, is dismissed from the club, or decides not to play at any time that I remain liable for my total club season dues. Any outstanding fees and dues will be due within seven (7) days of my daughter’s termination from the club.
- Each player must pay a deposit in order to confirm their position on their team. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE as are all club payments thereafter. Oregon Premier Volleyball Club will NOT refund any payments.
- If any payments are late or in default, my daughter will not be allowed to attend any practices or tournaments until payment is made. I will also be held liable for any and all attorney, court and administrative costs associated with the collection of unpaid fees.

OPV FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
*Must qualify for financial assistance program.
OPV provides need-based financial aid to players who cannot afford to pay club fees. The financial assistance program awards funds to club members based on demonstrated academic achievement, financial need, and expressed interest in pursuing Volleyball beyond high school. To be eligible to apply for the OPV Financial Assistance Program, all student-athletes must tryout and have been offered a position in one of our club teams. The application must be completed by November 15th along with all supporting documents to qualify for assistance.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM - CRITERIA FOR APPLICATION
The financial assistance program awards funds to club members based on demonstrated academic achievement, financial need, and an express interest in pursuing Volleyball beyond high school.
To be eligible to apply for the OPV Financial Assistance Program, you must meet all of the following criteria:
Tryout and accept a Local, Regional, Premier or National club team offer
Must be a full-time student at a middle or high school
Must be of high academic standing - Earning a minimum of a 3.0 GPA or above 86 average or greater than a B average
Demonstrate need for financial assistance (Must Submit previous year tax returns for all parents/ guardians)
Intentions of graduating from an accredited high school
Planning to enroll full-time in a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited higher education institution in the fall directly after your graduation from high school, or planning to enroll full-time in a associates degree program at an accredited higher education institution in the fall directly after your graduation from high school with intentions to play volleyball there.
Your application will be evaluated on your:
Individual determination to succeed
Future goals and plans to achieve them
Ability to communicate the hardships you have overcome or currently face
Self motivation in completing challenging coursework
Demonstrated need for financial assistance (Must Submit previous year tax returns for all parents/ guardians)

Scholarship awards are up to $250 for Local team, up to $600 for Regional team, up to $1,200 for Premier team and up to $1,500 for National team each club season, depending on team placement, amount of players requesting assistance on a given team and funds availability. Financial need and club fees will be considered in determining who gets awarded a scholarship and award amounts.
Additionally, all award recipients must work at 4 volleyball events between December and June.
