At OPV we pride ourselves on providing the best, truly qualified coaches around. To us, that means they have the context of playing at a high level (college) or coaching at a high level themselves (or both!). Afterall, how can we train our players to play at a high level if we haven't been there ourselves? We pay our coaches better than anyone around because we value their experience and expertise. London Starley
London grew up here in the Portland area, having played at Sandy HS and Adidas NW JRs. Volleyball Club. She went on to play DII Volleyball in Vermont, and just recently transferred to Warner Pacific to finish up her volleyball career. She coached at Philomath HS where she was the varsity assistant and JV2 head coach, while there the varsity team took 3rd in State. She also coached at G3 Volleyball Club in Corvallis running the 14-1s, 14-3s and assisting the 18-1 teams. Her 14-1s team finished in the top 10 of CEVA. This will be her fifth year as a club coach and second year here at OPV. In addition, she has joined the Warner Pacific University coaching staff as an assistant. She is has her degree in business management with an emphasis in leadership. She will be enrolling in a masters program to pursue her MBA.
Master and Recruiting Coach
Dale Agbayani
Dale is currently the Associate Co-Head Coach at Clackamas Community College, part of the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC). Previously, he served as an assistant at Linfield College and CCC with current Co-Head Coach, Ashli Itami.
Dale also has experience coaching at the Middle Grades, high school, and club level. At Roosevelt HS he was the Assistant Varsity and JV2 coach. At Lincoln HS he was an assistant varsity coach and the Volleyball Cluster Coordinator for PIL’s Middle Grades volleyball program. He has also served as the head coach of the 18’s & 14’s at Multnomah Athletic Club and was Director and Head Coach with NW Juniors. After Covid, he has recently returned as OPV’s Master and Recruiting Coach.
Dale plays regularly and hosts annual adult tournaments in Portland and Honolulu. He has experience playing nationally and internationally with many awards and accolades for his continuous growth of the sport with several organizations at different age groups and levels.
Dale will help all OPV athletes create and maintain athletic profiles used to recruit themselves to college coaches and programs. He will also help with training for all OPV teams and programs offered to volleyball players in the Greater Portland Metro area.
16 National Head Coach
Lihau Perreira
In (2019-2021) Lihau was hired to take over Sandy High School’s Varsity Volleyball Program. Before becoming the Head of the SHS program, she also coached JV2 at SHS in 2014 and one season of club at MHAC in 2015. She started her journey as a student of the game in 2004 when she started playing club ball in Kauai, HI. After moving back to Oregon, she went on to become a 4-year varsity starter at Sam Barlow High School (2008-2012) and throughout her high school career earned honors such as most improved, most inspirational, most valuable player, honorable mention, first team, and second team all-conference and all-state. After high school she played two years at Mt. Hood Community College (2012 & 2013) where she continued the legacy of back to back Southern Region championship titles. During her time at MHCC she received honors as 5x NWAC player of the week, second team NWAC all-tournament, 2x tournament MVP (Dorian Classic & Columbia Basin Invitational), MVP of the Southern Region and second team AVCA All-American. She continued on to play a final year at Holy Names University (2015), a Division II university in the PacWest conference, where she finished off with a career-high of 21 kills in one match and closed out as a top 25 outside hitter in the conference. She strives to offer her support and guidance to others who are navigating through their student-athlete careers.

Maggie Starley
Coach Maggie has 20 years of coaching experience across softball volleyball and basketball. She has learned about strength training through her own time as a collegiate athlete as well as her time as a trainer. Maggie has a passion for fitness, her kiddos, flying airplanes and hanging with her puppies.

Brooklyn Starley
Coach Brooklyn has played volleyball at the high school, club and collegiate level. She is currently a player for Warner Pacific University. Coach Brooklyn grew up in nearby Sandy, Oregon and attended Sandy High School. During high school, she played volleyball all four years for the Pioneers. She excelled in volleyball and was named All-League Honorable Mention and was nominated as the best libero in the state in 2021. "She brings some high-level experience in a multitude of positions. After graduating from high school, she attended Utah State University for her first year and now plays at Warner Pacific.
